On December 19th the Florence City Council, on a proposal of the Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture Alessia Bettini, approved the resolution granting Museo Galileo – for ten years, renewable - the free use of the premises located on the first floor of the Santa Maria Novella Complex to set up the GalileoLab.
This will be a space intended for citizens and schools, but also for the national and international public, where exhibitions and educational activities will recount the contribution of Florence and Tuscany to the history of science. It will also be a place for debate, between history and future, on the impact that thought and new technologies can have on democracy.
