Museo Galileo is joining “La science de l’art, biennale di arte e scienza”, the second phase of the “GRASPING THE COSMOS” project, which is the result of the collaboration between the Galileo Galilei Institute for Theorethical Physics and the University of Florence’s Sistema Museale di Ateneo for the enhancement of Villa Galileo.
Through a dialogue between science, history of science, contemporary art and society, this phase of the project is going to offer - from September 30 to November 26 - a rich program of events and initiatives related to the two solo exhibitions of young artists Maëva Ferreira Da Costa and Tina Salvadori Paz.
Museo Galileo is participating with two talks (in Italian):
Saturday 14 October, 6.30 p.m.
Il cosmo che suona. Dall’armonia di Kepler alle onde gravitazionali
(“The Sounding Cosmos. From Kepler's Harmony to Gravitational Waves”)
Natacha Fabbri, science historian
Saturday 11 November, 6.30 p.m.
Galileo il tempo e la longitudine
(“Galileo, time and longitude”)
