Starting from September 20, 2022, a new series of meetings called “Tuesdays at Museo Galileo” will be held at Museo Galileo and will focus on Science, archaeology and history: challenges between past and future.
Museo Galileo has been engaged for years in research activities and initiatives aimed at disseminating the scientific and technical knowledge of the past, also thanks to the fruitful collaboration with other museums and international research centres.
This first series of meetings is the outcome of such significant experience. Directors and managers from major Italian museums will talk about current research topics, as well as the conservation and preservation of cultural heritage. A researcher of Modena & Reggio Emilia University will take us to the future with the prototype of a self-driving vehicle conceived and created by a research group of the "Enzo Ferrari" Department of Engineering.
The meetings are intended for the general public.
This first series will be followed by other meetings, dedicated to various topics in the history of science and technique.
