Galileo Galilei was born in Pisa on February 15, 1564. In the week of his birthday, Museo Galileo is going to propose A spasso con Galileo, special guided tours for families with children aged 7 and over. During those visits, that are held in Italian, the scientist in person will tell us the story of his life and discoveries, and will describe the scientific instruments he used.
On his very birthday, February 15, a visit is scheduled which is aimed at adults and is free for museum ticket holders: Galileo: dietro le quinte di un rivoluzionario scienziato held in Italian, will represent an opportunity to look into a “domestic Galileo”, to discover his daily life and passions, such as food and music, thanks to the texts taken from his works and letters.
