From November 19 to December 3, 2021 the museums which are part of the Network Musei Welcome Firenze are organizing a programme of free events “Musei per tutti”, with theatrical dance performances, tactile visits, animated and guided visits in Italian Sign Language accessible to everybody.

A spoken book to meet
PIETRO LEOPOLDO, "GRANDE" GRANDUCA
26 November, at 3.30 pm
Presentation and listening to the book “Pietro Leopoldo di Lorena. A 'great' Grand Duke", in the presence of some members of the Unione Italiana Ciechi e Ipovedenti of Florence.
Afterwards, a theatrical visit to the Lorraine collection on display in the museum halls, where the Grand Duke himself will talk - in Italian - about the decision to abolish the death penalty, on November 30, 1786, and about his own conception of scientific knowledge.
The event is part of the initiative Festa della Toscana 2021.
