As part of the festival L’eredità delle donne, which is promoted and supported by Fondazione CR Firenze and will be held in Florence from October 22 to 24, 2021, Museo Galileo proposes
“La scienza delle donne nella Firenze del XVIII secolo”

A guide dressed in costume will show and explain phenomena related to electrostatics, by creating sparks, by rubbing materials or through induction.
Visitors will thus relive the Age of Enlightenment, the playful atmosphere of the 18-century "didactic evenings" and the importance the Lorraine dynasty gave to the dissemination of science.
The event is part of the festival's OFF calendar.
The event will be held in Italian.
Participation is included in the museum's entrance fee.
