Museo Galileo is organizing, in collaboration with the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence, a series of concerts which are focused on the connection between music and science.
The initiative includes soloists and ensembles engaged in a repertoire that intertwines music and science: from wind instruments, similar to some scientific instruments housed at Museo Galileo, up to the compositions of J.S. Bach, whose work celebrates the intrinsic bond between music and mathematics.
Participation is free for museum ticket holders.
Reservations recommended at 0039 055 265311.
