The Network Musei Welcome Firenze is proposing a series of visits and meetings (in Italian) for the summer months.
The first tour, organized by Museo Horne and the Florence University Museum System, is scheduled for 1 July at 10.30 at the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnology and is a guided visit focused on the theme of cooking and everyday life in distant cultures and during the Renaissance.
On 5 August at 10.30 Museo Galileo will host "I segreti della carta" that will show the materials and the techniques used to build and decorate the ancient telescopes, as well as the works on paper on display in the Museum of Casa Buonarroti.
On Thursday 2 September, at 10.30, it will be possible to participate in a guided tour, organized with the Fondazione Scienza e Tecnica at the Florentine Museum and Institute of Prehistory, on the origins of man and universe.
PLast but not least, on 30 September at 10.30, the Network proposes a mathematical walk through the monuments of Florence, organized by Il Giardino di Archimede.
Meetings are free. Only entrance fees of each museum hosting the event are due (where reservations must be made).
