Starting from May 30, 2021, Museo Galileo will resume its full hours: it will be possible to admire the extraordinary Medici and Lorraine collections of scientific instruments it houses every day from 9.30 to 18.00, except Tuesdays from 9.30 to 13.00.
The museum will also offer several activities for the general public both in Italian and English. Guided tours and theatrical visits are scheduled and, throughout June, it will be possible to make a guided stroll in the museum’s halls either to discover Galileo and the Medicean collection or to learn more about the diffusion of science during the Age of Enlightenment.
Entrance fees are unchanged, but some important news is that it will be possible to book and buy tickets online.
For scholars and students of history of science, the library is open Monday through Friday from 9.30 to 16.30.
