While awaiting a reopening with normal hours, do not miss the chance to come back and visit the Museo Galileo.
Starting from February 2, Tuesday through Friday it will be possible to take part in free guided visits at the following times: 11.00, 15.00 and 16.30.
Access is limited to a maximum of 10 people per visit in order to guarantee social distancing and a safe visit.
The guided tour will focus on the precious scientific instruments owned by the Medici family, Grand Dukes of Tuscany, which include the only two extant Galileo’s telescopes. The visit will continue in the interactive area, where the museum staff will show stimulating scientific experiments thanks to replicas of ancient instruments.
