“I am truly honored to serve for the Museo Galileo. I am aware that the issues the museum faces are central to a fruitful relationship between scientific knowledge and the challenges of the contemporary society. The Museo Galileo - Institute and Museum of the History of Science is for many reasons a virtuous example, where research and dissemination in the field of the history of science are combined, an international landmark whose success is the result of an admirable job done with the aim of giving the institution a recognizable and unanimously appreciated physiognomy. I warmly thank the President and the members of the Board of Directors for placing their trust in me”.
