The museum’s reopening on May 30 (on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) received a very positive response from visitors, who increasingly attended the permanent exhibition in the last months.
Hence the decision to return to regular opening hours: from Monday, September 7, it will be easier to admire the precious Medici and Lorraine collections of scientific instruments, with the help of high-quality services available both in Italian and English (free App to explore all the items on display, videos that simulate their functioning, Wi-Fi throughout the halls, bookshop, etc.).
Guided visits by museum operators are available upon request.
Distancing is guaranteed and sanitizing hand gel is to be found in every room.
Due to limited access, a free reservation is possible to schedule your entrance time at +39 055 265311.
From Monday, September 7, the Library will also be open to scholars according to its regular timetable: Monday to Friday 9.30-16.30, Saturday 9.30-13.00.
