March 25, 2020, which is the date that marks the beginning of the Divine Comedy's otherworldly journey, has been decreed by the Italian Government as the day to celebrate Dante Alighieri.
On that occasion the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the Ministry of Education, together with schools, museums, archaeological parks, libraries, archives and cultural institutions will propose on their social accounts images, videos, art works, rare editions of the Divine Comedy to tell how profoundly the figure of the Supreme Poet has marked all the cultural and artistic expressions of the Italian identity over the centuries.
To help celebrate, the Museo Galileo re-proposes an educational video on Dante's Inferno according to Galileo.
