The Museo Galileo celebrates its 6th National Braille Day with a guided tactile visit (in Italian) on Friday, February 21, 2020: an inclusive path, aimed not only at blind or partially sighted visitors, which allows to discover the museum’s collections thanks to some reproductions of scientific instruments such as astrolabes, planetariums or electrostatic machines.
A Braille guidebook with tactile images of the major exhibits will be at visitors’ disposal. A small exhibition of 3D printed anatomic models from the museum collections will enrich the event.
