Maria Luisa Righini Bonelli Hall
A new theatrical action featuring Galileo and his housekeeper. An opportunity to look into a "domestic Galileo" with a magnifying glass and discover his everyday life and passions, such as food and good wine. While preparing for the dinner, the two characters discuss astronomical issues as well.
Will Galileo succeed in making Piera understand the Copernican system through a series of jokes?
The show will take place in Italian.
The performance is followed by a "Galilaean happy hour" prepared after the scientist's works and the letters of his daughter, Sister Maria Celeste.
The event is part of the Happy Birthday Galileo and Festa della Toscana 2017 programmes.
