On the occasion of the 500th anniversary since its first edition (1516), Museo Galileo pays tribute to the Orlando Furioso with an afternoon of readings by Michele Neri.
Inspired by the text by Ludovico Ariosto and by the Storia dei Paladini di Francia, "Astolfo sulla luna di Galileo Galilei" traces - in the manner of storytellers of the past - the performances of the knight to find the wits the brave Orlando lost because of his love for the Princess Angelica: from the journey with the hippogriff, the arrival and description of the moon, to the bottle containing the wits that Astolfo brings back to restore Orlando to sanity.
The event will take place in Italian and its cost is included in the entrance fee.
