Museo Galileo, Sala Righini Bonelli
As part of “Strings City 2017,” the Museo Galileo will host a solo and trio concert with music by H.W. Ernst and B. Romberg.
“Strings City” is a festival devoted to the music performed by string instruments, from violin to vocals. For two days—Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3—over fifty locations in Florence, including museums, palaces, libraries, and archives, will be turned into the stage for about eighty musical events. The programme ranges from classical to contemporary music.
Strongly supported by Florence Municipality, “Strings City” is organized by the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in collaboration with the Conservatorio di Musica “Luigi Cherubini”, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and the Orchestra della Toscana.
The event is free of charge but does not include the museum's ticket.
Free access upon availability.
