From 16 July—and until 8 January 2018—MUSE–Museo delle Scienze di Trento is home to the exhibition already shown at Rome’s Capitoline Museums from May 2013 to January 2014, which presented Archimedes to the wider public and illustrated his extraordinary contribution to the growth of technical and scientific knowledge in Antiquity and the following centuries. Over twenty working models of the machines invented by or attributed to the great man from Syracuse are on display, together with the videos that show how they worked.
