An abridged version of the exhibition “NEXUS. Human-Machine Interaction in Contemporary Culture, Technology and Science” will be shown at the Spazio MIL in Sesto San Giovanni, near Milan, from November 8th to the 20th, 2016.
Satellite events include the workshop “Robots in Healthcare,” that will deal with four subjects, namely rehabilitation robotics, neuroprosthesis, robotics and surgery, design and medical treatments. The workshop will be held on Saturday, 12 November from 10:00am to 6:00pm and is open to students and researchers. It is organized in collaboration with Bertarelli Foundation Chair in Translational Neuroengineering Center for Neuroprosthetics–EPFL in Lausanne, BioRobotics Institute–Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, Laboratorio Dagad, and Archivio Giovanni Sacchi.
On the occasion of the exhibition, the fourth edition of the Ex Cover graphic design contest will be devoted to “Human-machine interaction: the robots.” Applicants are required to submit a new cover layout for a book dealing with the 2016 topic.
