Tuesdays at Museo Galileo
Science, Archaeology and History: Challenges between Past and Future
September 20 - November 22, 2022
A new series of meetings intended for the general public. This first series will be followed by other meetings, each time dedicated to various topics in the history of science and techniques.
The meetings are the outcome of Museo Galileo’s long-term engagement in research activities and initiatives aimed at disseminating the scientific and technical knowledge of the past, also thanks to the fruitful collaboration with other museums and international research centres. Directors and managers from major Italian archaeological museums talked about current research topics, as well as the conservation and preservation of cultural heritage. A researcher of Modena & Reggio Emilia University took us to the future with the prototype of a self-driving vehicle conceived and created by a research group from the “Enzo Ferrari” Department of Engineering.
The conferences (in Italian) are available on the Museo Galileo’s YouTube channel.
