Edizioni Museo Galileo was established in 2023 to grant the Institute greater editorial autonomy in its publishing projects. Its flagship series, “Fonti. Testi e Documenti di Storia della Scienza” (Sources: Texts and Documents on the History of Science), features critical editions, transcriptions, and specialized studies. The series aims to bring to light overlooked or rare works that are essential to understanding the complex transmission and evolution of scientific knowledge. EMG also publishes museum and exhibition catalogues (frequently in partnership with other publishers), children’s books, and various literary works, including the winning entries of the “Premio Barnaba” and the collection of short stories Dieci storie per un museo.
