This is a remake of the Homo Faber exhibition which was organized by the Museo Galileo in 1999 to reveal the extraordinary level of naturalistic, scientific and technical knowledge achieved in Pompeii and the Roman world on the eve of Vesuvius eruption in 79 AD. The Brussels show—produced in collaboration with the Naples Archeological Museum, Civita Mostre, and Tempora—features over one hundred archaeological findings as well as working models of machines and 3D recostructions, which take visitors into a fascinating journey through space and time.
