The exhibition features anamorphic sculptures and optical toys created by Stella Battaglia and Gianni Miglietta. Anamorphosis is a kind of pictorial representation based on the study of perspective aberrations. The images can be correctly perceived only when observed from a precise vantage point, or when reflected in a mirror. Viewed from any other point, they are either distorted or totally unrecognizable. Visitors will enjoy discovering the images “hidden” within sculptures and paintings, and will be astonished at the surprising perspective inventions which made possible to create the artworks on display.
