The exhibition features the great man from Syracuse to the wider public and illustrates his extraordinary contribution to the growth of technical and scientific knowledge in Antiquity and through the centuries.
Archimedes in Syracuse is a remake of the exhibition shown in Rome, at the Musei Capitolini (Archimedes: The Art and Science of Invention, 31 May 2013 – 12 January 2014). The current edition has been displayed in Trento at the MUSE under the title Archimedes: Entertaining Inventions, and then in Syracuse—the city where the great scientist spent a great part of his life.
