Museo Galileo has launched a new thematic digital library project which aims at the publication on line of printed works and manuscripts related to the first Accademia dei Lincei (1603-1630). A large part of the prestigious documentary core of the oldest Italian Academy, founded in 1603 by Federico Cesi, is preserved at the Library of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei e Corsiniana in Rome.
Project realized with the contribution of the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Affairs (Italian Digital Library).
