Museo Galileo is announcing a two-year fellowship to commemorate Paolo Brenni (1954-2021), an internationally renowned expert in the field of the history of scientific and technical instruments as well as invaluable long-time collaborator of Museo Galileo.
The fellowship is intended for postdoctoral candidates in the humanities and sciences, who have already demonstrated profound interest in the material study of the history of science and technology, in scientific instruments and scientific collections.
The application deadline is March 14, 2023.
Other Italian and foreign research and museum institutions will soon join the program, including the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci in Milan, to carry out similar initiatives dedicated to the memory of Paolo Brenni.
We would like to thank Mara Miniati and Marco Beretta for their valuable collaboration.
