The following material is offered as a support to the teachers for the pre-visit phase of the educational pathway Galileo’s New World.
The activity is based on the IBSE system (Inquiry Based Science Education). All the material is divided by age groups.
The PPT presentation has been conceived to be projected during the lesson (in the classroom or remotely). It contains the questions to address the engagement and exploration phase accompanied by visual support material. It offers also the necessary information to cover the explanatory phase, where commonly accepted concepts and terminologies, useful for the interpretation of the phenomena, are introduced.
In the PDF booklet, which can be given later to the students as a review aid, are presented the principal topics.
